Perhaps it is because the iPad has such limited memory, but the search function is entirely useless. You have to specify a narrow window, instead of being able to check out activity at a surveillance camera over a day, or series of days, as you can with the PC version. The live viewer works fine.

App users in my company all experienced problems with this app. My issue was password related. I called the tech support phone number listed in settings on the app--this turned out to be the beginning of a wild goose chase! I wasted hours on the phone and wrote several emails, all to get my password reset. Ultimately I was told that they cant reset user passwords or add users etc. without the admin account password from the company who sold us and installed the camera system (as they are the administrators). This makes sense but they could have told me that when I first called. Until Exacq addresses their customer support system problems, I cannot recommend their products or their app.

Im just curious... Whoever wrote this app -- have they ever used it themselves on an iPad? I mean it has a feature to display cameras but then they do not disable iPads power saving so after about a minute or so the screen goes out... Seriously!? So I have to remember to tap the screen every minute or so to make it stay on. I contacted their tech support and asked why theres no such feature to disable power saving while watching feed from cameras, and someone replied that it would be a good feature to have (doh! Like any other video playback app or device...) but it seems like no one cares since its been several months and still ... nothing.... And on the side note to whoever thinks about buying their tDVR -- think twice, read these reviews. We had no choice at our office. The installer bought it for us. But if it was up to me, Id not buy any of their products. Why? The main tDVR box has had issues since day one and it doesnt seem like those will be resolved any time soon. Too bad!

This program updated and now it does not work at all with my iPad. Each successive update it seems to have gotten worse. I cannot get access to my cameras. When it updated no settings were saved. I have tried to reinstall the app and re-enter all the ip addresses to the cameras, password and account info, without any success!

Awful application, have had this software for my cameras on and off for three havent for years, and there are always issues. It always crashes and is extremely inconsistent. Trying to get my supplier to get me different software. Highly not recommended.

I rarely write a review where I call an app terrible, but this is it. Prior to the UI update, the app was pretty decent, not great, but decent. Now, the app resets constantly, crashes, and has problems connecting. Nothing else has changed about my setup. For the amount of money that we spend on Exacqvision, the app should be stellar, not just “ok.” Update: yet another app update that broke login. Seriously terrible. Run far away from any products this company makes.

Thanks for this last update. Now I cant view any of my cameras. Can we reverse this update? All I want to do is view. Nothing fancy.

Update in app. 03-15-16 Another screw up. I now have dozens of units that cant be accessed by the app. In my iPhone 6s or new iPad Mini the app doesnt retain password. So for each unit I have to add username and password every time! Im at a point now if looking for another server mfr. ever since Exacq sold out it has gone down hill! 2015 We install a lot of Exacq servers. Major issues with new update and ridiculously long hold times for tech support. When this happen to us its for dozens of units and I have a lot of unhappy customers. For the cost of the NVRs and licenses completely unacceptable!!!

TERRIBLE UPDATE. Doesnt work at all on any device. Wont find cameras. Will talk to security company about finding a different app. Each successive update has made it worse. Seems more buggy now.

The app now wont automatically sign in to existing NVRs. Pathetic.

Used to be pretty good. I updated to the newest revision and now it wont save my login or see the server. Ill have to close the app completely, reopen, reset the info for the server then log back in. I have to do this now every time I reopen the app to view cameras. Its hard enough getting the hardware to work consistently, now the app is screwed up. NOT GOOD!

The latest release now allows my new devices to see my old company system. Thank you for quick update.

New update still doesnt work. App wont save password and login. I have multiple exacqvision servers and now the mobile is useless.

Third screwup on this app in a matter of days. Wont save username and passwords.

latest update 7.6.2 doesnt save password and you have to enter it every time you use the app.

This app was updated to make it a bit more user friendly, but my colleague and I, who are responsible for viewing the cameras, are constantly having to tinker with our settings to see the footage. One thing that happens is the server weve configured shows up as not configured. We have to toggle it offline and back online again to be available. Then, we have to enter in username and password (manually) to get in. Thats a lot of hoops to jump through when an alarm is going off. I hope your developers are working diligently to squash that bug.

Ive used this program for years to cover my business, over night its become the biggest pain in my neck!!! We need this resolved yesterday!!!!

This app has never worked since having it installed on my phone. Currently, auto update has this app locked up; cannot update it or delete it.

Anyone writing. A review saying this app is anything better than poor, is a hack or a paid employee of exacq. The app is terrible.

This app needs updating...you get on to look at cameras and they all stall out with the hour glass.
